Advanced fax functions
The <Advanced Functions> key is for easy access to the following fax functions listed in
the table.
NOTE: •Toshortenafrequent-useoperation,assigningthefunctiontoasoftkeyisrecom-
mended. For how to do this, see page 8-2.
•Ifoneofthefunctionsisassignedtoanyofthethreesoftkeys,thatfunctionwill
not be available through the <Advance Functions> key.
To select the fax function using the <Advanced Functions> key:

Press <Advanced Functions>.

Press <q> or <p>, or <Advanced Functions> repeatedly to select the function. Then
press <Enter>.
The table below lists the order of display. Refer to the pages indicated for detailed
information.

Broadcast Used to send a fax to multiple parties. p. 4-12
Address Entry Used to enter a recipient’s address. *
Report Prints the transmit confirmation report for the next transmission. p. 11-5
Monitor Obtains a dial tone for on-hook dialing. —
Pause/Dial Opt. Used to enter a dialing character. p. 3-3
Delayed Used to make a delayed transmission. p. 4-13
Batch Tx Stores a document for batch transmission. p. 4-14
Select TTI Used to select the TTI or to disable the TTI on your transmission. p. 4-17
Cover Page Used for the cover page setting. p. 4-20
Fax Forward Enables or disables fax forwarding. p. 5-12
Fax & Copy Enables or disables Fax&Copy. p. 4-19
Security Enables or disables security reception. p. 9-3
Separator Page Enables or disables separator page. p. 5-14

Auto Rx Toggles between the manual and auto reception mode. p. 5-2
F-Code Tx Used to make an F-code transmission. p. 6-11

Dial Prefix Used to enter the “/N” symbol. p. 4-21
