3.15.1 Set consumable order sheet

1. Clear the junk data, if necessary (see “Clear consumable order sheet,” next page).

2. Press Program, *, F(06).

3. Press ENTER. the LCD will show:

Dealer Fax #:

Enter the dealer’s fax number. The fax number can be up to 20 characters in length.

The consumable order sheet will be sent to this fax number when “Transmit” is selected in the

“Order Sheet” setting in step 15.

4. Press ENTER to save the distributor’s fax number and continue. The LCD will show:

Dealer Tel #:

Enter the distributor’s phone number. The phone number may be up to 20 characters in length.

5. Press ENTER to save the dealer’s phone number and continue. The LCD will show:

Out of Toner

# (000-100):0

Enter the number of pages which the machine can print after appearing the “Toner Low” message.

The number can be up to 100.

6. Press ENTER to save the number of pages and continue. The LCD will show:

End Drum Life

# (000-999):5

Enter the number of pages which the machine can print after appearing the “Drum Near End” message.

The number can be up to 999.

7. Press ENTER to save the number of pages and continue. The LCD will show:

CntDownDisplay :Off

Determine if the LCD displays the remaining pages which can be printed after “Toner Low” or “Drum Near

End” message appeared.

Select “ON” or “OFF” to activate/inactivate the consumables countdown display settings.

8. Press ENTER to save the setting and continue. The LCD will show:

Dealer NAME;Upper

Enter the dealer’s name. The name may be up to 30 characters in length.

9. Press ENTER to save the dealer’s name and continue. The LCD will show:

CUST CODE ;Upper

Enter the customer’s code. The customer’s code may be up to 10 characters in length.
