1. Remove the 4 screws from
the top of the cartridge.
2. Remove one screw from the
side of the cartridge
3. Carefully spread the sides of
the cartridge cover to release
the catches on both sides of
the bottom. A small at-blad
ed screwdriver may be used,
but be careful not to break
the plastic.
4. The cover should lift straight up
and off. Be gentle and slow as
there may be a small amount of
glue on the front edge of the
plastic. You should now have
something resembling the
cartridge pictured above.
NOTE: Please note that when you remove the
cover off the cartridge you will see a square
plastic peice like the picture above. You must
remove this piece carefully to expose the plas-
tic plug (relling hole) underneath.
5. Remove the plastic plug in
the side of the cartridge with
a small pair of pliers. Pull on
alternate sides until the plugs
come out.
6. Carefully pour in the new toner.
Cleanup any spills or clothing
with cold water. Replace the
plug, cover and screws in reverse
order.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
(The Pictures show relling a high capacity black cartridge. The standard capacity color cartridges are identical except the center
section of the cartridge is not raised). If there is no pull out plug in the area indicated on your cartridge. You will require a hole
making tool to create the rell hole in same location we indicate their should be a plug.
